Louise Burton
history teacher

Louise Burton has been a history teacher for over 20 years. She taught at a school in south London for 12 years, where she was head of history. She has also worked in alternative settings, including a hospital school. She now lives and teaches in Buckinghamshire.  She has a degree in History and Politics and an MA in Education Philosophy.

She is a member of the Academy of Ideas Education Forum and has written articles on the pastoral curriculum, history and gender in education.
