Jon Holbrook is a barrister and frequent contributor to spiked on a variety of legal and political issues, which can be found here. His published essays include The Rise and Fall of the Rule of Law and a critique of global governance. Jon was shortlisted for the journalism award, by the legal publisher Halsbury.
Jon is a lawyer who argues for less law and more politics. He believes that whereas law should bolster liberal democracy it now plays a key role in undermining it.
