Steve Miles is CEO of Emerging Leaders (EL), an iNGO with a footprint in 29 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin & North America and the UK. EL’s core programmes focus on empowering people in vulnerable communities with the mindsets, motivations and skills to flourish – instilling dignity, by developing agency, so THEY become the heroes of their own story.

Steve has over 35 years experience in leadership and developing people in the charity, sport, faith, business and international development sectors with extensive experience ‘in the field’. He has a passion to see people thrive and a heart bias to invest in the worlds most vulnerable – shaped by life-changing encounters in Asia, Africa and South America. He believes learning is best received when it is engaging, creative, relevant, has a bias towards action and is fun. He is 35 years married, 58 years young and loves all things sport, great coffee and dabbling at culinary delights in the kitchen.
