Sean Matthew Corby
musician

Sean is a working-class jazz musician from the North of England. He has toured and recorded with Jazz Warriors, Gregory Isaacs, Jah Wobble and others. The debut album ‘Hancestry’ by his group The Solomon Gundy Band featuring Courtney Pine is due for release later in 2026. Sean played a key role in creating the vision and strategy of Tomorrow’s Warriors, co-founded Jazz in the Round with Jez Nelson, founded The Human Revolution Orchestra a multi-faith big band of US and UK musicians that attracted attention from Herbie Hancock and has worked for Roundhouse, NYJO, Kids Company and Trinity Laban. During a 5-year hiatus from music, Sean worked at ACAS where he was subjected to an unhinged and unfounded complaint from a cabal led by a far-left race activist. The ensuing legal case is at appeal. Sean has returned to music and is working on a memoir: ‘Porkman a life of black or white’
