Sarah Phillimore

Sarah is a barrister based in Bristol and has been involved with Fair Cop since 2019. She got permission to judicially review Wiltshire Police’s decision to attend and sponsor Swindon Pride in 2025, with uniformed officers displaying Progress Pride badges/flags etc in what she says is an unlawful breach of their statutory duty of impartiality and very similar to the unlawful actions of Northumbria Police in 2025. The full hearing is set to go ahead on 23 November 2026. Fair Cop is also challenging the decision of the IOPC to display public support for political Pride events.
