Sally Millard
co-founder, AoI Parents Forum

Sally is a long-standing member of the Battle of Ideas organising committee and co-founder of the AoI Parents forum. She has produced several debates at The Battle of Ideas, including Telling off the Grown-ups and Women’s Trouble? the pay gap debate.

The Parents forum was set up in 2006 to provide a meeting place for those who want to make sense of why parenting is such a focus for policy makers. It is as necessary now as it was when we set it up. With concerns ranging from what we feed our children, how many books we read to them and even how we talk to them about consent, we are told bringing up kids is neither a straightforward task, nor a private matter. The Parents Forum has been a great place to discuss these developments on our Facebook page and in regular meetings, so that we can work out how to challenge them.

Sally works as a Head of Finance and is the mother of two lovely teenagers.
