Nat is a senior cultural leader and communicator who has worked in museums and heritage since Rick Astley was first in the charts. As director general and master of the armouries, he leads the UK’s national museum of arms and armour (the world’s oldest).

Over the years, he has worked at local, regional and national levels across museum and heritage organisations in England and Scotland, and is particularly interested in ways that the shared stories and shared spaces represented by such public assets can help build community and national resilience.
