Naomi Firsht
acting rankings editor, Times Higher Education (THE); journalist and commentator

Naomi is acting rankings editor at Times Higher Education (THE). Outside of THE, she writes freelance on a variety of topics from motherhood and parenting issues, to free speech, rising antisemitism and Israel, the transgender debate, and Anglo and French culture.

 She has bylines at The Spectator, spiked online, The Jewish Chronicle, The Times, The Telegraph, New Statesman, Unherd and The Critic.

Naomi was previously a reporter for The Jewish Chronicle and staff writer at spiked online. She has appeared as a commentator on a number of radio and TV shows, including the BBC’s Sunday Morning Live.

Before training as a journalist in London, Naomi spent five years working in Paris. Naomi is mother to two young children.
