Mark Hill
accountant; coordinator, Green Leaves; former Green Party activist

Mark is a past activist of the Green Party, the Labour Party, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and the Anti Poll Tax movement. He has served as a local councillor for both Labour and the Greens. He served for 10 years as the Green Party’s Campaign printer during which he produced and distributed 75million leaflets for his party. He served on the Green Party national executive, coordinated the Yorkshire Region and stood as a candidate in both local and European elections.
Since 2009, he has coordinated the Green Leaves Eurosceptic group and has become a regular attender of the Battle of Ideas. His profession is as accountant for mid-sized companies. He left the Green Party in 2024 because of its censorship of those members who wished to be able to discuss the Cass Report, within the structures of a Party that had previously prided itself on its free speech and internal democracy. He remains an activist – but now for the Conservative Party.
