Janne Saarikivi
linguistics researcher; adjunct professor, University of Helsinki; author of non-fiction books; columnist, Helsingin Sanomat

Mr. Saarikivi is a linguistics researcher with a special emphasis on the history and contacts of the Finnish and related languages. He has published on the linguistic and ethnic (pre)history of Finland and Northern Eurasia and worker over 10 years as a full professor in Finland and Norway. He is author of 7 non-fiction books and a columnist in Finnish daily Helsingin Sanomat. Currently, he has been running his own institute for free research together with his wife and a group of other researchers.
