Gillian Philip
writer and haulage worker

Gillian Philip is a writer, a worker in the haulage industry and a campaigner on issues of women’s rights and free expression. As well as creating her own fiction, she was a copywriter for children’s packaged series like Beast Quest and the ‘Erin Hunter’ animal fantasy brand, until she was fired in 2020 after a Twitter mob attacked her for her stance on gender ideology and its dangers to women and children.

Currently she writes mostly non-fiction. She lives in the Highlands of Scotland with two cats and two or three – depending on their mood and the state of the grazing – miniature horses.
