Gillian Philip
writer and haulage worker

Gillian Philip is a writer, a worker in the haulage industry and a campaigner on issues of women’s rights and free expression. As well as creating her own fiction, she was a copywriter for children’s packaged series like Beast Quest and the ‘Erin Hunter’ animal fantasy brand, until she was fired in 2020 after a Twitter mob attacked her for her stance on gender ideology and its dangers to women and children.
Currently she writes mostly nonfiction. She lives in the Highlands of Scotland with two cats and two or three – depending on their mood and the state of the grazing – miniature horses.
