Dylan Evans
Manchester city councillor

Dylan Evans has served as a Manchester city councillor since his election in May 2026, where he also holds the position of deputy leader for the Reform council group. Cllr Evans serves on Manchester Council’s economy & regeneration scrutiny committee. A working-class lad from the North, Evans says he entered politics to champion local British families who feel left behind by the political establishment.

With a professional background in finance and business banking, Evans worked with small businesses during the pandemic. He attributes his victory, in what was formerly very safe Labour territory, to the fact that working-class British families find it increasingly difficult to get secure social housing due to the ‘needs based’ approach for social housing allocation.

Evans has challenged Andy Burnham’s record in Greater Manchester for what he sees as a failure to build genuinely affordable social homes for local Mancs and instead prioritising big developer contracts to build expensive high-rises in the city centre.
