Dr Maren Thom
film critic; senior research fellow, MCC Brussels; co-host, Performance Anxiety podcast

Maren has worked in, and studied, film and theatre and teaches film, speech and stage-work at a university level. Her research and writing focus on performance and representation and both social and artistic concepts. Maren is a senior research fellow at MCC Brussels.

After her work in academia, she continues her expertise as a freelance writer and leads acting workshops. Her writing on film and representation is regularly published in Spiked. Maren is the co-host of the Performance Anxiety podcast.
