Danny Kruger MP

Danny Kruger is the Reform MP for East Wiltshire, responsible for the party’s preparations for government. First elected to Parliament in 2019, he was previously political secretary to Boris Johnson, speechwriter to David Cameron and chief leader writer at the Daily Telegraph.

For 10 years, he ran the prisons charity Only Connect, which he founded with his wife Emma and which he still chairs. He has a DPhil in history, and is the author of two books: On Fraternity: Politics beyond Liberty and Equality (2008) and Covenant: the new politics of home, neighbourhood and nation (2023). In May 2026, Reform UK published his paper Fixing the Centre: Proposals for the heart of Government.
