Daniel Cremin

Daniel is an experienced public affairs and policy specialist who currently runs his own business Cogent Perspectives Ltd and authors a Substack called Right Sharp.

Before starting his own business, he worked in political and policy consultancy after graduating and then later at King’s College London for over 12 years, latterly as director of public affairs & external environment insight.

Daniel takes a keen interest in political strategy and psephology. He produces analysis threads on X and pieces for his Right Sharp Substack exploring what election results, polling data, MRP projections and the detailed data tables sitting beneath the headlines can tell us about where support for parties and particular issues is coming from and how parties can build durable, geographically efficient electoral coalitions.

Daniel is an active political commentator at speaker events and on YouTube, Substack and X in relation to education policy, economic and constitutional affairs, Reform UK’s political strategy and preparedness for government, and the state of freedom in the UK.
