Rahel Demant co-founded XR Bootcamp, a global academy for XR development. Since it launched in 2020, she has helped shape the careers of thousands of people and built a supportive alumni network around the world. Under her leadership, XR Bootcamp runs the SensAI Hackademy community, an open platform where people share knowledge through free lectures by senior industry professionals and work together in co-development groups.

SensAI Hackademy, a program of hackathons and hands-on learning where developers and creators build at the intersection of XR and AI has hosted Hackathons in Los Angeles, Stockholm, Cologne, London, Istanbul, Barcelona, and San Francisco.

Rahel led the ‘Beyond Inclusion’ initiative, a scholarship and tech-career matchmaking program that makes XR education accessible to more people. Meta, Unity and JFF Foundation have funded it. In 2024, the XR Guild gave her its Ethical Value Award for her work.

In 2026, Rahel ran for the Berlin House of Representatives (Abgeordnetenhaus) as a Volt Berlin candidate.
