Irune Ariño

Irune Ariño is a Spanish political scientist, public affairs consultant and OSINT analyst. She is co-founder of Agenda Actual, where she works with purpose-driven organisations on research, international projects and institutional development.
She holds degrees in Political Science and Philosophy and is currently a PhD candidate in Philosophy, researching the moral and political consideration of non-human animals in libertarian thought. Her broader interests include political philosophy, applied ethics, individual freedom and the moral limits of markets.
She is a former deputy director of the Instituto Juan de Mariana and has also worked as an adviser to the Government of the Community of Madrid and taught at several universities. She coordinated and co-authored Mitos y realidades del feminismo, contributing work on sexuality, reproduction and commodification, and has written and spoken on surrogacy, reproductive freedom and liberal feminism.
