Lara Spirit is deputy political editor for The Sunday Times. She was nominated for 2023 Young Journalist of the Year by the Society of Editors and for New Journalist of the Year by Press Gazette. Before her role as deputy political editor, Lara was The Times’s Washington Correspondent.
