Dr Henrik Overgaard-Nielsen
retired dentist; former MEP

Henrik Overgaard-Nielsen is a former member of the European Parliament and co-chairman of the Danish JuneMovement fighting the referendums in 1992/93 in Denmark about the Maastricht Treaty.

He is a retired NHS dentist, former chairman of the General Dental Practice Committee of the British Dental association representing over 30 000 dentists in the UK.

He was part of the Danish Peoples Movement against the EU and JuneMovement fighting elections and referendums since 1975 and a founder of TEAM, The European Alliance of EU-critical Movements which connects 49 organisations spanning across 18 European countries.

He lives in London, but follows Danish politics and is regularly interviewed on Danish radio. He is especially interested in the Danish immigration and asylum policies and has been published in the Daily Telegraph on the subject.

He has contributed to several books about the EU and in his spare time he has taken the DipWSET degree in wine and works as a tutor at West London Wine School.
