Andrew Fox is a frontline conflict researcher, writer and commentator specialising in modern warfare, defence, the Middle East and disinformation. A former British Army major, he served for 16 years in the Parachute Regiment, completing operational tours in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Northern Ireland and the Middle East, including service alongside US Army Special Forces. His military experience continues to shape his analysis of contemporary conflict, combining battlefield knowledge with extensive field research.

Since leaving the Army, Andrew has become a recognised analyst of international security and armed conflict. His work has taken him to the front lines in Gaza, Lebanon and Ukraine. His research focuses on the future of modern warfare, the changing character of conflict, and the role of information warfare in shaping public understanding and political decision-making.

Andrew is a regular contributor to international television, radio and print media, providing analysis on defence, foreign affairs and security issues. He has addressed audiences ranging from national parliaments to international organisations and is known for combining operational experience with rigorous, evidence-based research. Through his writing, speaking and media work, he seeks to explain complex conflicts with clarity, challenge misinformation, and improve public understanding of war and international security.
