author, Never Again? How the West betrayed the Jews and itself

Jake Wallis Simons is a Telegraph columnist, broadcaster and foreign correspondent. He writes a popular Substack and presents The Brink podcast with the former parachute regiment officer Andrew Fox. He was formerly editor of the Jewish Chronicle.

Jake’s new book, Never Again? How the West betrayed the Jews and itself, argues that antisemitism as a symptom of cultural malaise and maps out a path to the restoration of society. It will be published in October 2025. His previous book, the prophetic Israelophobia: The newest version of the oldest hatred and what to do about it, came out exactly a month before October 7 2023 and was the Telegraph book of the year.

Jake has reported globally for the Daily Mail, the Telegraph and the BBC, appearing regularly on Radio 4’s From Our Own Correspondent and presenting numerous radio documentaries on subjects ranging from Interpol to migration.

He has also written four novels.
