Volker Tripp is working as an advocacy manager for the NGO Digitale Gesellschaft. In the ten years before his current job, the jurist has been running his own business training law students and legal practitioners for their exams. As a freelancer for Deutschlandradio Kultur Volker has also been contributing to nation-wide radio shows focusing on digital culture and net politics. He has been advocating a liberalisation and modernisation of copyright law as a speaker on the free music scene of the noughties and as one of the heads behind the netlabel iD.EOLOGY. Volker is also one of the founding-members of the NGO Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte which wants to initiate strategic litigation against laws violating fundamental rights and freedoms.
