Tom Switzer is incoming executive director of the Centre for Independent Studies in Sydney (2018- ) and a presenter at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Radio National. He is a former lecturer at the University of Sydney’s United States Studies Centre (2009-16), Australian editor of The Spectator in London (2008-14), opinion editor at The Australian (2001-08), editorial writer at the Australian Financial Review (1998-01) and assistant editor at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington (1995-98). He has written for the Wall Street Journal and New York Times (international) and is a regular contributor to Sky News Australia and CNBC Asia.
