founder, Democracy Matters; author, Learning Practical Politics: Lessons in Power and Democracy
Titus Alexander is an educator, campaign trainer and author of Learning Practical Politics: Lessons in Power and Democracy (2017), for teaching practical politics. Other publications include Family Learning: foundation of effective education (Demos 1997) and Citizenship Schools: a practical guide to education for citizenship and personal develop.
Titus studied maths, physics, intellectual history and German at Sussex University. He co-founded i.e. Sussex (ideas in education for Sussex), which created student-lead education projects such as the Street Library, a learning exchange, Study Engines, and Learning in the Real World, a student-run, project-based course on making a difference.
