Thomas Meehan

Thomas is a history graduate of the University of Reading, where he specialised in modern British and Russian history. Thomas  taught for several years in North London, but has recently moved  to Dublin to teach in one of the country’s growing number of Educate Together schools. He is currently writing an extended piece on responsibility, accountability and trust in education – a subject which, in his roles as teacher and NUT representative, he  developed much interest in. Outside of teaching, he is a cinema enthusiast and has made short films, and has published articles around the history and theory of film and television.
