Theo Clarke is the founder and chief executive of the Coalition for Global Prosperity (CGP), supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. CGP is a coalition of political, military and faith leaders who all believe that the UK should be at the forefront of global efforts to save lives, alleviate poverty and hunger, and expand economic opportunity.
Theo was formerly director of the Conservative Friends of International Development (CFID) and led the Conservative Party’s social action project in Sierra Leone. Theo has delivered education, enterprise and employability training in several African countries. She is a frequent commentator for TV, print and radio on politics, culture and international affairs. She also stood as a prospective parliamentary candidate for Bristol East in the 2017 and 2015 General Elections.
