Steve Turner

Steve turner is a poet, author and journalist. He has written extensively on music and is the author of biographies of artists such as Van Morrison, Marvin Gaye, Johnny Cash and the band of the Titanic.

His travel features appear regularly in the Mail on Sunday. He has interviewed Beat Generation authors Allen Ginsberg, Herbert Huncke, Gregory Corso and William Burroughs and his book Jack Kerouac; Angelheaded Hipster was published by Bloomsbury (UK) and Viking (US) in 1996. He lives in London.
