Stephen Kinnock MP
Labour MP for Aberavon; member, Exiting the EU Select Committee and EU Scrutiny Committee; co-editor Spirit of Britain, Purpose of Labour: building a whole nation politics to reunite our divided country

Stephen Kinnock has been the Labour MP for Aberavon since 2015. He is a member of the Exiting the EU Select Committee, and of the EU Scrutiny Committee.

He was born in Tredegar in 1970 and went to Drayton Manor Comprehensive School before studying modern languages at Cambridge and then going to the College of Europe in Bruges, where he gained an MA in European Studies.

He has in depth experience of business and working internationally, having lived in Brussels, Russia, Africa and Switzerland.

He is also co-editer of a new book: Spirit of Britain, Purpose of Labour: building a whole nation politics to reunite our divided country.
