Sohrab Ahmari is senior writer at Commentary Magazine. Previously he spent five years as an opinion columnist and editor for The Wall Street Journal in New York and London.
His writing has also appeared in The New York Times, The Times Literary Supplement, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Weekly Standard, The Catholic Herald, First Things, Dissent and America, among many other publications. He has testified before the British Parliament and appears regularly on broadcast media on both sides of the Atlantic, including the BBC, Sky News, France 24, Deutsche Welle, EWTN and the Fox News Channel.
He is the author of The New Philistines: How Identity Politics Disfigure the Arts (Biteback, 2016). He is currently at work on a spiritual memoir for Ignatius Press.
