Sherelle Jacobs is a Daily Telegraph columnist and commissioning editor on the newspaper’s comment desk. Apart from Brexit and Westminster, which is her ‘bread and butter’, she also writes about geopolitics, technology, futurism and bureaucracy. Sherelle previously worked on the Telegraph‘s travel desk, a job that took her across the world, from Colombia to Mozambique. She has also worked as a freelance journalist in Tunisia, where she reported on the failures of the Arab Spring and the rise of extremism in the Maghreb. Previous to this, she worked on the breaking news desk at Deutsche Welle in Bonn, Germany. She has a first class honours degree in history from the School of Oriental and African Studies. In her spare time she practises ballet.
