Richard Swan is a former teacher who is now a writer, lecturer and academic. As well as A Level Study Guides to Chaucer, he writes articles, short stories and poetry. His children’s novel, Melody’s Unicorn, was published in May 2018. He has organised and participated in a wide range of talks and debates on subjects including creative writing, extra-terrestrial intelligence, animal cognition, Mervyn Peake, T.S Eliot and Lana Del Rey.
