Nick Rose worked as a postgraduate researcher in parapsychology before he joined teaching in 2003. He taught science and later psychology in secondary schools, eventually becoming a leading practitioner for psychology and research. He created the blog Evidence into Practice – looking at ways in which findings from educational and psychological research might apply to classroom practice – for which he was shortlisted for a TES award in 2015.
Nick is also co-author (with David Didau) of the book What every teacher needs to know about psychology, published in July 2016. He joined TeachFirst as a senior officer in knowledge development in March 2016.
