Martin Routledge has been working on the development and delivery of personalisation in the UK for many years. He currently leads the development of Community Circles. In addition he advises In Control and the GM person & community centred approaches programme, he is Chair of trustees at IAS, board member of Think Local Act Personal and supports the Independent Living Strategy Group (chaired by Baroness Campbell of Surbiton). Martin is also currently convening the national #socialcarefuture network which aims to catalyse more rapid shifts towards citizen and community led approaches
In the past, Martin has had several roles including: local authority social work and management (provision and commissioning); development/academic roles; Department of Health NW regional learning disabilities advisor (Valuing People Support Team); head of National Putting People First Delivery Team (DH, CSIP); interim head of person centred care at NHS England; director of the Coalition for Collaborative Care; director of Think Local Act Personal ; and head of operations, In Control.
