In her role for Schibsted, Karin Pettersson oversees strategic issues and leans on digital market development including monitoring and analyzing key political processes that affect Schibsted Group and Schibsted Media in Sweden, Norway and the rest of Europe. Before moving to Schibsted, Pettersson was Political Chief Editor in Aftonbladet, an editor of Aftonbladet, and founder of the Focus newspaper, where she was also a chief editor. She has also worked as a communications manager for social democrats.
