staff writer, Newsweek
Josh Lowe is a staff writer at Newsweek covering Britain and Europe, focusing on politics and policy across the continent, with a bit of arts, entertainment and the royals thrown in.
Before that, he worked at Prospect magazine on the digital team, with the challenge of bringing highbrow ideas-led coverage to a wide-ranging online audience.
He is especially interested in immigration and its surrounding issues, Brexit, social policy, central Europe, radical and violent extremism, religion and the politics of food.
He has a BA in English literature and language from Oxford University and an MA in journalism from City University.
