founder and primary writer, Sex and Censorship; campaigner; author, Porn Panic!
Jerry Barnett is the founder and primary writer at Sex and Censorship. In addition to his campaigning and writing work he is an author, technologist and entrepreneur. He is a born and bred Londoner.
Jerry was an activist for left-wing causes in the 1980s, in particular anti-fascism. A few years ago, he became concerned about a new rise in fascist and nationalistic attitudes afflicting the political left as much as the right. His book, Porn Panic!, on pro-censorship feminism and the rise of left-wing identity politics, was published by Zero Books in August 2016.
