Dr Tara McCormack
lecturer, international politics, University of Leicester

Dr Tara McCormack lectures in international politics at University of Leicester. Tara has a BA in politics from Queen Mary College (University of London) and an MSc in international relations and government from the London School of Economics and a PhD from the Centre for Study of Democracy, University of Westminster. Her research focuses on security, foreign policy and democratic legitimacy.

Tara is engaged in a number of academic working groups and publishes widely in academic journals. She contributes articles on international affairs to spiked and is regularly invited to comment and debate international affairs on the BBC, LBC, Radio Leicestershire, Sputnik News, Russia Today, Novosti, The New European, Cheltenham Literature Festival and others.
