Nathan Pinkoski is a Thomas W. Smith Postdoctoral Research Associate in the James Madison Programme in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. He holds a BA (Hon) from the University of Alberta, Canada, and an MPhil in politics from the University of Oxford, where he has recently completed his DPhil in political theory. His research interests include 20th century politics and political thought, American politics, and classical political thought. At the University of Oxford, he taught classical languages, classical political thought, 20th century political thought, and organized seminars on American politics. Presently, he is an editor for Politics and Poetics academic journal and an occasional contributor to the American Greatness blog, where Publius Decius Mus flattered him as ‘the best of my critics to have emerged’.
