Dr Catherine Jones
lecturer, University of St Andrews; author, China’s Challenge to Liberal Norms
Catherine Jones is a lecturer at the University of St Andrews. Previously she was a research fellow at the University of Warwick. Her work focuses on China’s engagement with international institutions particularly the UN. She has published on this topic in International Politics and Pacific Focus, and she has a book forthcoming with Palgrave Macmillan entitled China’s Challenge to Liberal Norms.
Her most recent project explored China’s relationship with North Korea and was funded by the Korea Foundation. She has published on this topic with the National Bureau of Asian Research and contributed short pieces to NK News.
