Ceri Thomas is editor and partner at Tortoise Media. He has worked for 25 years in a variety of frontline journalist jobs at the BBC. Between 2006 and 2013 he was editor of the Today programme, and later editor of Panorama. For a time, in the fall-out from the Jimmy Savile scandal which convulsed the BBC, he acted as deputy director of News. He is former director of public affairs at Oxford University.
