Mandarin primary specialist teacher, Harris Federation
Cara has worked in inner-city London primary schools for the past six years as a class teacher, English subject leader and MFL coordinator. She now works as Mandarin primary specialist teacher for the Harris Federation.
Cara has a background in music, anthropology and an interest in Chinese language and culture. She graduated from Oxford University with a BA in music in 2009 and completed an MSc in social and cultural anthropology the following year. Before training as a primary school teacher she spent a year learning Mandarin in Taiwan on a Taiwanese ministry of education ‘language enrichment’ scholarship.
