Benjamin David
writer and editor-in-chief, Conatus News

Benjamin has an MA in philosophy and is a published writer and poet. Having been involved in activism for several years, in 2016 he founded and became editor-in-chief of Conatus News – a platform for news and op-eds to empower grassroots activists. Conatus News has gone on to acquire over 100 writers and has published nearly 1000 articles from a wide demographic – including students, academics and acclaimed human rights campaigners.

Having written profusely on progressivism and social liberalism on a variety of media outlets, Benjamin is strongly opposed to religious based intolerance and identitarianism. He has campaigned rigorously for free speech, rights for apostates, environmental protections, and a return to philosophy as a way of addressing regnant cultural problems.
