Ash Kotak’s projects in 2018 include, as curator, Youth After Grenfell with Juergen Teller and iD magazine (Spring 2018), AIDS Histories & Cultures Festival (July in London & Amsterdam), with over 40 partners including the Raphael Samuel History Centre, the V&A and the British Film Institute, and, in this month’s Bloomsbury Festival: Life-Blood at the Crypt Gallery (17-21 October 2018)
Ash is also the executive producer of a new film, Punched by a Homosexualist, a feature documentary about LGBTQ activists in St. Petersburg, Russia.
He is currently completing a new play entitled Freddiebhai which explores his family relationship with Farrokh Bulsara, aka Freddie Mercury.
