Angela is the economist at Green Alliance where she leads on developing the economic case for a sustainable economy in low carbon energy, infrastructure, the circular economy, and the natural environment.
She started her career as an accountant in the energy industry before moving into economic development where she has spent the last 15 years. In East of England Development Agency she headed up strategy development and economics and at SQW Consulting she covered productivity, economic growth, housing growth, sector and clusters, innovation, energy and low carbon development in the UK and Europe. Recently she had the pleasure of using that experience in the Caribbean where she was Regional Economist and Climate Attach for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
