master of public policy candidate, Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford
Andrea began her career as a document analyst for the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Relations, working with immigrants in Phoenix, Arizona. Before coming to Oxford, she worked as a diversity and inclusion specialist for two of Mexico’s largest companies, and most recently for Accenture, focusing on accessibility for people with disabilities, gender equity, cross-cultural affairs and LGBT inclusion.
She holds a BA in Cultural and Social Entrepreneurship from Tecnológico de Monterrey, has supported refugees as a volunteer for international humanitarian agencies, and worked on tech and education projects with Apple. At Oxford, Andrea hopes to expand her knowledge on how to improve the reach and effectiveness of public policies through increased collaboration with the private and third sectors.
