Amali de Alwis is CEO of Code First: Girls, a multi-award winning social enterprise that works with women, men, and companies to increase the number of women in tech and entrepreneurship. Over the past 4 years they’ve provided £4 million+ of free tech education, and are the largest provider of free in person coding courses for women in the UK.
Outside of the day job, Amali is a founding member at Tech Talent Charter, a CommonwealthFirst mentor, a board member on the Diversity and Inclusivity board at the Institute of Coding, on the Membership committee at The Allbright, and a fellow at the RSA.
