John Fitzpatrick

John Fitzpatrick worked for many years (variously as client, management committee member and solicitor) in community law centres in Brixton and Hammersmith in London. He joined the University of Kent in 1991, and for the past 19 years has been Director of the Kent Law Clinic and teaching human rights law at Kent. The Law Clinic provides free legal representation in employment, housing, immigration, asylum and other cases; the Law Clinic aims to provide legal help to those who cannot afford it, and to enhance the legal education of students at Kent.
