Robert Whelan

Robert Whelan is the Deputy Director of Civitas and was previously the Assistant Director of the IEA Health and Welfare Unit. He was director of the Family Education Trust for four years and is managing director of the New Model School Company, an initiative aimed at creating affordable, independent schools. In addition to publishing his own work, he has edited a number of publications, including The Corruption of the Curriculum. He also teaches English at a Saturday school for Bengali children in the East End.
