Rowenna Davis is a journalist specialising in political and social affairs for the Guardian and the New Statesman as well as being published in the Financial Times, the Independent, the Economist and the Times. A regular commentator for Sky News, BBC TV and radio, she is also the author of the new book on Blue Labour, Tangled Up in Blue and a panellist for the Sunday Politics.
She was elected to serve as a Labour councillor for the Lane ward in Southwark in 2011. She has a keen interest in community organising, working with the youth charities Headliners and Envision, volunteering for Crisis and serving as a trustee for Blackfriars Settlement.
