Craig Fairnington

Craig was the winner of Best Individual award at the Debating Matters National Final 2006, and since then has chaired and judged debates across the UK, as well as working as Debating Matters Assistant at the beginning of 2010. He is currently a web editor at the Institute of Ideas.

Craig graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2009 with a BSc in Physics, and has written and researched a number of science topic guides for Debating Matters, including Genetic screening of embryos should be celebrated, not feared. He was a co-convenor of Debating Matters Changing Age, a day of talks and debates for school pupils on issues around ageing, held in conjunction with Newcastle University.
